Key responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing FPS combat, from concept, prototyping through to polish stages and maintenance/balancing before and after it reaches players hands.

  • Management of large amounts of game data/files and maintaining the weapon arsenal and world systems.

  • Experience working as part of a feature team and feature owner, taking a feature from concept to completion, tracking dependencies, estimating workloads, identifying risks and mitigations and actioning feedback from POs and players.

  • Authoring and maintaining documentation on all topics related to game and technical design, including; LEDs, Full design pages and technical documentation.

  • Extensive collaboration with all areas involved in creating features including animation, VFX and Audio.

  • Considerable experience in data driven development in order to build and balance large amounts of weapons, traits, World interaction/simulations and other player related and meta systems.

  • Extensive experience using visual scripting in a proprietary tool.

  • Running internal playtests and feedback sessions on the features myself and peers own.

    • Large weapon refactors including:

      • Ballistics

      • Center Crosshair option support

  • 15+ Live events

    • Focusing on gameplay adjustments, traits, in-mission meta progression.

  • QoL features and improvements, including:

    • Additional control options
